What are you doing this Labor Day weekend? At Pamby Motors in Ridgefield, CT, we're making sure our employees enjoy themselves on Labor Day by closing shop that day. Our showroom, service building and body shop will be closed on September 7 to allow our hard-working employees to have the day off. But, don't worry, we'll be open on Saturday and the deals continue through the month.
Did you know Labor Day was officially observed for the first time in 1894? That was the year congress passed an act making the first Monday in September of each year a legal holiday in the District of Columbia and the territories. It is a special day to honor the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
