Pamby Fireworks at Ridgefield's 2016 RVFD Carnival

It's that time of year! Kids are getting out of school, the community pools have opened and American flags are all around. What better way to kick off an all-American summer vacation than with our annual Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department Carnival!

This is one of our favorite events to sponsor. Ridgefield will once again be treated to the best fireworks display in town. You won't want to miss the FREE show.







Tim Pambianchi, member of Pamby Motors and the deputy fire chief of Ridgefield's volunteer fire department, says this year's carnival will include all the crowd favorite rides and food from the previous 18 years.

"This is one of our two major fundraisers for the year," Pambianchi says. "The other one is a mailer. These two fundraisers provide us with maintenance and equipment." Ridgefield has two fire departments: career and volunteer. RVFD works together with the Ridgefield Fire Department to do everything we expect from our firefighters and more - for free. They donate countless hours of service to our community.

The RVFD Carnival, which will be held at East Ridge Middle School, promises rides for young and old. Check out the official Facebook Page. The carnival will be here Wednesday, June 22 - Saturday, June 25, 2015, and will run from 6pm-10pm each night. Local food favorites will be on site, and bracelets will be sold daily for rides.
